After an incredible week at John Lewis Newcastle, we’re so excited to share where NinetyOne Jewellery will be popping up next.

Our first John Lewis pop-up was a huge milestone for us as a mother-daughter jewellery brand. Just six months after launching our website, we found ourselves in one of the UK’s most loved department stores, meeting customers in person, sharing our story and seeing our jewellery come to life on the shop floor.

And honestly? Newcastle completely blew us away.

A brilliant week at John Lewis Newcastle

From the moment we arrived, the Newcastle store felt like such a warm and welcoming place for NinetyOne.

The team were incredibly supportive, the atmosphere was lovely, and we met so many customers who instantly understood what we’re about: personal, meaningful jewellery designed to feel elegant, wearable and completely your own.

Throughout the week, people stopped to browse, try pieces on, ask about the stories behind the designs and choose gifts for themselves and the people they love. We had conversations about colour, personalisation, confidence, special occasions, everyday styling and the little details that make jewellery feel truly personal.

For us, that was the most exciting part: seeing people connect with NinetyOne in real life.

The pieces you loved most

One of the biggest moments of the week was selling out completely of our Cornflower pieces.

We knew Cornflower was a beautiful colour - soft, elegant and easy to wear, but seeing it become such a favourite in store was amazing. We’re now gradually restocking online, so keep an eye on the website if you missed out.

Our interchangeable drops were also a big talking point. They’re designed so you can change the look of your hoops without buying a completely new pair of earrings every time. Choose your base hoops, add different coloured drops, and build a collection that works with your wardrobe, your mood and your style.

Engraving, memories and meaningful moments

Our engravable jewellery was another huge part of the week.

We created pieces with partners’ names, baby photos, pet pictures and personal messages, as well as handwritten necklaces using the handwriting of loved ones who had passed away.

Some of the stories customers shared with us were incredibly moving. It reminded us that jewellery can be so much more than something beautiful to wear. It can hold a memory, a person, a place, a feeling or a moment you never want to forget.

That is exactly what we want NinetyOne to be: jewellery that feels like yours.

Where we’re popping up next

The response to Newcastle has given us so much confidence for what comes next.

We’re now working with Pop-Up Indie to bring NinetyOne Jewellery to more John Lewis stores across the UK, and our next confirmed pop-up will be:

John Lewis Leeds! from 23-29th November 2026

Leeds feels like such an exciting next step for the brand. It’s close to home for us as a Yorkshire business, and we can’t wait to meet more customers in person, showcase our collections, and offer our personalisation and engraving options in store.
